2: Green Scene
This year we’ll surround ourselves with the gorgeous greens found in nature, bringing the outside in.
Dark and dramatic shades with warm and earthy tones, such as Overtly Olive by Dulux, can be used in kitchens to extend the colours we find in our gardens, create bathrooms that look and feel like spas, and have bedrooms overflowing with biophilic-inspired design.
3: Perfect Pastels
The light and airy pastels of the 80s are back – dreamy shades in strawberry pinks, mint greens, and sherbet oranges. Refreshing and light are perfect for creating fresh, bright, and joyous spaces. The overall look is of a cool artist studio for creative types or stylish kitchens for serious food lovers. Try the trend for yourselves in soft peaches and toned-down yellows.
Ceilings and doors can be painted in light pastel as many of the same colours available in emulsion paint are also available in gloss paint and eggshell finishes.
4: Modern Neutrals
2023 is all about combining warm neutral hues to create sumptuous palettes. Great colours that are on trend this year are rose pinks and rusty oranges, and striking violets.

It has been a prevalent colour for a feature wall paint for some time now, but when all four walls are painted in shades ranging from dark blue, petrol blue and navy, you can create a luxurious style that will have your friends green with envy.
One great advantage to using dark colours for your walls is that it makes lighter colours, especially any gloss paints on door and window frames, really pop.

Bear with us on this one, as it is not an obvious choice for a wall colour, but it can be pretty dynamic and powerful in the right space. Coupled with the right furniture in similar shades will bring any room in your home into the most popular trend of 2023.
Most would assume this to be the domain of the teenage bedroom wall but with the correct lighting and furnishing it can bring any room especially a living room that all encompassing wow factor we are all craving.
8: Tangerine and Orange
Bright and vibrant oranges, tangerines and light coppers can enliven any room and accentuate the artwork. Bathrooms and hallways are also beautifully alive with these deep colours.
Again with any paint colour scheme the ideas go together with combinations of colour from the colour of your ceiling, doors and windows to the furnishings in that particular room and with big shades like the tones you get in orange you can turn a room like your bedroom into a boudoir.
